In December 2025, employees of Erasmus University received their end-of-year gift: an Erasmus-green trolley filled with a variety of enjoyable and tasty products. After distribution to all staff, a number of trolleys remained. In consultation with the Marketing & Communication department, these were transferred to the Library, where their contents were given a meaningful new purpose!
The products were donated to the volunteers of Stichting Voedseltuin Rotterdam. This foundation works with volunteers to grow healthy fruits and vegetables for the Voedselbank (Food Bank) and various social initiatives across the city.
It was particularly nice and meaningful that we were able to surprise these volunteers, who dedicate themselves to helping others, with something extra for themselves.
