With her fight against the taboo on heavy menstrual blood loss EUR-student Yara Dixon has been named Medicine student of the year 2021.

This is the most prestigious award for scientists. It has been awarded twice to researchers affiliated with EUR: Jan Tinbergen in 1969 and Guido Imbens in 2021.
