The Health Economics specialisation offers a structured yet flexible curriculum that prepares you to analyse, evaluate, and improve healthcare systems using economic tools. The programme is spread across six blocks and includes core courses, electives, and a master thesis.
Programme structure
- Core courses cover essential topics such as health economics, applied econometrics, and health technology assessment (HTA), laying the groundwork for advanced study.
- Electives allow you to tailor your learning to your interests, with options in decision theory, pharmaceutical markets, healthcare competition, and global health.
- Master thesis is written individually from block 4 onwards, with close supervision and a structured process to support your progress.
