The study programme in a nutshell

Mode of education

The public administration track in the master programme Governance of Migration and Diversity provides state-of-the-art courses on governance, policies, politics and research design. It is a full-time offline programme, in which interactive lectures are accompanied by workshops, guest lectures and site visits. Students will also commute to attend lectures in Leiden, Delft, and The Hague. We encourage group work, collaboration amongst students from all the disciplinary tracks of the master’s and between students and professors. Students can write their thesis as part of several applied research projects in which our academic staff is involved.

Curriculum

Study programme includes 50% of joint courses for the whole Governance of Migration and Diversity Master, and 50% the Public Administration specific parts. During the programme, several site visits are organised to engage with first-hand experiences of governance issues. In the past, students have visited Essalam Mosque, Paulus Church in Rotterdam, European Commission.
