Transitional Arrangement for Institutional Tuition Fees

Are you enrolled in a bachelor’s programme at ESE, ESHPM, ESHCC, ESL, ESPHIL or ESSB and paying the non-EEA institutional tuition fee? Then you may qualify for a transition scheme.
Under this scheme, you will pay the same tuition fee in 2026-2027 as in 2025-2026, with an inflation adjustment.

Requirements:

  • You were enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of your bachelor’s programme at one of the faculties listed above in 2025-2026.
  • You pay the non-EEA institutional tuition fee.
  • You re-enrol in 2026-2027 for the same programme.
  • Your enrolment is uninterrupted.

The reduced tuition rate applies for a maximum of two consecutive years: 2026–2027 and 2027–2028.

Tinbergen Institute

** Tinbergen Institute Research Master in Economics and Research Master Business Data Science:
EER master students who have completed a master's degree at UvA, VU or EUR and enrol without interruption for this master as a second master's degree, pay the statutory fee.
