Language Teacher Assignments
The Language & Training Centre (Erasmus University Rotterdam) organizes courses in various foreign languages three times a year (including evening classes) for students, staff, and external participants. These courses are offered at various levels (depending on the language) and run for 10 teaching weeks. An oral and written final assessment takes place during the last session.
Courses may be taught on Campus Woudestein, at the EUC campus, or (partially) online. Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 16 students, and each lesson lasts 2.5 hours.
The upcoming course block runs from January 18 to March 26, 2027. Are you a certified freelance language instructor interested in teaching one of these foreign languages with us? Please complete the form below by November 10 at the latest.
Requirements:
- Native speaker or equivalent proficiency level
- English language skills at minimum B2 level; basic knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
- Resident of the Greater Rotterdam area
- Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) with multiple clients
- Extensive teaching experience and your own laptop for delivering lessons
Three times per year the Language & Training Centre (LTC) organises evening courses English for students and external participants. These courses consist of 10 weekly sessions and an exam in 'week 11'. The course level that we will offer in the coming course period is C1.1. The evening courses start at 17.30 and may be taught offline (on campus Woudestein) or online (via Teams). Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 16 students, and each lesson lasts 3 hours.
The upcoming course block runs from January 18 to March 26, 2027 and the exam will take place in the week of 29 March (invigilated by the LTC).
Are you a certified freelance English teacher, experienced in teaching Academic English, interested, and available to teach with us? Please complete the form by November 12 at the latest.

Three times per year the Language & Training Centre (LTC) organises courses Workplace English: Speaking with confidence for employees of EUR and external applicants. These courses consist of 10 weekly sessions with an optional exam in an 11th session. The course is offered on a B2 and C1 level. The courses take place in office hours and are taught offline (on campus Woudestein). Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 10 participants, and each session lasts 2 hours.
The upcoming course block runs from January 18 to March 26, 2027 and the optional exam will take place in the week of 29 March.
Are you a certified freelance English teacher, experienced in teaching Speaking skills courses, interested, and available to teach with us? Please complete the form by November 12 at the latest.
