dr. S (Sarah) Bertrand

Biography

Sarah Bertrand is an assistant professor in transforming societies at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication. Her scholarship is situated at the intersection between the history and theory of international relations, with a special interest in (post)colonial power relations and the politics of knowledge production. Her current research focuses on global Cold War hierarchies and international relations knowledge production in the former German Democratic Republic. 

She holds a PhD degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is a former editor of Millennium: Journal of International Studies.
