The team consists of Marilisa Boffo (co-PI), Danielle Remmerswaal (co-PI), Djameela Dullo, Tajda Laure, Georgia Taxiarchopoulou, Bastiaan van der Zeeuw, Farshida Zafar, and Leonardo Fuligni.
Commercial feasibility study for ROOM
Thanks to the grant, the team can explore the next steps to achieve ROOM's ambitious goals: offering the app free of charge to students and young people outside Erasmus University Rotterdam.
The team will focus on developing a sustainable business model to ensure the operational success of ROOM as an independent digital tool outside EUR, even when offered for free.
About ROOM
ROOM was launched in September 2024 at Erasmus University Rotterdam after four years of intensive research and development. Since then, more than 3,500 students have used the app. ROOM was developed with and for students, aiming to support them in improving resilience, developing emotion regulation skills, and enhancing self-awareness. The app offers scientifically proven effective tools that help students learn and apply this knowledge in their daily lives.
