The Open Brain Day for Adults during Brain Awareness Week is the central event for anyone who wants to learn about current brain science in an accessible way. The day is designed to be accessible: suitable for anyone interested in the brain, regardless of prior knowledge.
Programme
During Open Brain Day for Adults, you can participate in interactive exhibitions, workshops, and presentations. Afterwards, you can even take part in a live brain dissection.

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a global initiative that has been raising awareness of the importance of brain research among the general public for 25 years. In Rotterdam, it is led by Dr Anderson Mora Cortes (EUC). BAW is celebrated every year in the third week of March in more than 100 countries, involving universities, hospitals, NGOs, colleges and private organisations.
