Performances by musical and theatrical talent, broadening lectures, artful workshops and amazing quizzes. For 70 years, Studium Generale has organized all kinds of events for students and other interested parties. On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, it will be celebrated in grand fashion with a roulette of SG programs in a blow-up club on the plaza!

- Can I Become Rich from Shares? A crash course in how the stock market actually works by prof. Patrick Verwijmeren (ESE).
- Let’s Talk About Porn – dr. Samira van Bohemen (ESSB) on the research done on porn by the Erasmus Love Lab.
- Music as Medicine? - Experience live how music can be used as medicine with researcher Antonia Beckman (EMC).
- Rapid Fire Philosophy – Dr. Jamie van der Klaauw (Esphil) will introduce and discuss the aphorisms of Eric Hoffer.
- What is the metal capital of the Netherlands? Dr. Julian Schaap (ESHCC) on the popularity of this heavy music genre in his home country
Who was Erasmus anyway? An introduction to the life and works of the namesake of our university by dr. Ronald van Raak (ESPhil).

- Live music by various talented students from the monthly Open Stage Nights and Erasmus Music Association.
- Lie Down Concert: while lying on a mat, you listen to the beautiful piano music of Sebastiaan West, a very special experience!

From morning to night, you can walk into the blow-up club and be amazed by what is currently on stage. Interested in a specific section? The block schedule is still to be announced.
After the club closes down, we will end the day with an Open Air Cinema in the middle of the campus! The movie will be announced soon, so stay tuned.
