We look forward to welcoming you during the fall semester, spring semester or for a full year at Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB).
If you are interested in an exchange semester at ESSB, please contact the exchange coordinator at your home university, who can provide you with more info and who will first have to nominate you for an exchange semester at ESSB. When your nomination has been approved, you will receive information from us about the application procedure as well as the link to the application portal.

When your nomination for exchange at ESSB has been approved, you will receive information as well as a link to the application portal. Please make sure to have the following documents available:
- Copy of valid passport/European ID-card
- Official recent copy of your academic transcript of records (in English)
- You meet our English language requirements:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 4.5 on all components
- IELTS Academic: minimum 6.0 on all components
- Cambridge English: FCE (169–175), CAE, or CPE
- CEFR: B2 level – applicable only for Erasmus+ students
Please note that only tests taken at an official examination centre are accepted. Online/Home Edition tests are NOT accepted.
If student’s study programme is taught in English a statement from home university is sufficient proof. Otherwise, a certificate is required
Moreover, you will have to prepare the following:
- A short motivation about why you would like to go on exchange to Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (to be filled in in the online application form)
- List of courses you would like to take during your exchange at ESSB (view list of available bachelor courses).
