Students who want to study abroad should:
- Be enrolled as a fulltime student at Erasmus School of Economics both during application as well as during the exchange semester abroad.
- This will be checked in August.
- If you want to go abroad after passing all courses, make sure to discuss with your thesis coordinator how you can delay your graduation.
- Have passed all subjects from their first bachelor year (60 credits) upon application. Compensated courses are considered as passed courses. In case you have not passed all subjects of year 1 by the application deadline of round 1 (Fall semester), but you do at the start of round 2 or 3, please email us on outgoing.exchange@ese.eur.nl to discuss the possibility of applying for round 2 or 3.
- Only grades obtained at Erasmus School of Economics will be included. This calculation excludes courses for which you received an exemption. Non-rounded grades will always be used. The calculation is the same for both the fall and spring semester.
- Meet the language, GPA, and any other requirements set by the partner university:
- Some partner universities require that our students take a language test upon application. It is the student's own responsibility to find out about the language requirements of the partner university. You do not need to show language proficiency test results upon the time of application at Erasmus School of Economics, only upon the moment application at the partner university.
- If a partner university requires a minimum GPA at the time of application (for both ESE and the partner university), students must already meet this GPA when they apply.
- Please check the partner university profiles on our International Exchange Canvas page (FEB63005) for any other requirements.
